In accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), parents, guardians, teachers, children, and employees of the Township of Ocean School District must be notified annually of the district's activities regarding asbestos in the schools. During the last year, the district has completed two six month reviews.
The Asbestos Management Plan can be found in the main office of each school and is available for review during regular school hours. Additional information can be had through the Board Office (732-531-5600, Extension 3451).
